Hey, Bill Clinton Was Right!

“If you want small government you should support the Democrats because we know how to do it,” the 42nd president said rather paradoxically yesterday.

Hey, maybe he’s right: earlier this month in video that just went online today from Naked Emperor News, Rep. John Conyers (D-MI) told a far left group that the lame duck congress meeting next month will cut Social Security. Scary stuff for some — err, except that no matter what happens on Tuesday, Democrats will still hold the majority in that assemblage:

Oh and Conyers adds that he’ll investigate Karl Rove during the lame duck session, but then, that sort of Oliver Stone-like rhetoric has been part of the 81-year old’s shtick since the Reagan days.
