This is a paraphrase, but I remember Arthur C. Clarke telling an interviewer that during his press tour to promote 2001: A Space Odyssey that the most political thing he saw while he was touring the US in 1968 was a sticker on a hand dryer in a mensroom that said “Press For Five Minute Speech From LBJ.”
