How's ObamaCare Playing Out in the Heartland?

Not very well, if this Kinsleyesque-gaffe is any indication:

Roll Call today quotes a senior Democratic aide saying that “Members are particularly eager to tout passage of financial reform in their districts because, unlike health care, the public recognizes that it won’t suffer under it.”

I wonder what he’ll be admitting about the Dodd bill in a few months.

No doubt, the latter will work out for local banks and their employees as well as Government Motors benefited car dealers.

All of which maybe why National Review’s John Derbyshire sounds like he’s saying, “all is happening as I have foreseen” in an astoundingly accurate impersonation of Sen. Palpatine.
