Twenty years ago, Roger Ailes wrote a book on public speaking titled, You are the Message. And at the moment, the message that Bartz is sending out on Yahoo’s behalf isn’t exactly doing much for her product’s reputation.

And as TechCrunch, the Website whose representative was addressed so pithily by Bartz notes, “The swearing had the desired effect of course; becoming the meme of the conference — full of sound and fury, signifying nothing — and distracting from the real story: that the CEO of the third most visited site on the web was unable to concisely describe what her company actually does.”
