While I was in New York at the start of the week, I dropped by the offices of the Manhattan Institute (right next to Grand Central Station) to speak with Brian Anderson, the executive editor of City Journal magazine. We discussed Comedy Central caving to Islamofascist censorship of South Park, his 2005 book South Park Conservatives (which I was very happy to have been mentioned in), and California’s economic meltdown.
Also on this week’s show:
- Host Stephen Green interviews James Lileks on England’s Gordon Brown shooting himself in the John Lobb, and Charlie Crist bolting from the GOP, despite saying he was a team player just weeks ago.Glenn Reynolds interviews Mark Tapscott, the editorial page editor of the Washington Examiner on the left’s fascistic backlash over Arizona’s new immigration law, and the latest woes of Government Motors. (Watch interview here.)
- Joe Hicks of PJTV interviews Christopher Horner, senior fellow at the Competitive Enterprise Institute, and the author of the new book Power Grab, on the prospect of a cap and trade bill being taken up by Congress this year. They’ll also discuss the apparent conflict of interest of ex-Gore associate and current Obama energy official Cathy Zoi, which Horner explored further in an article at Pajamas Media, and in an another interview at PJTV, with Richard Pollack.
- Produced by your humble Grand Central Blogosphere conductor.
