What are some good grass-roots political books for men?

I have been working on my book on men’s issues, specifically on the male strike in marriage, college and other areas of American life that will be published by Encounter Books. I will keep readers updated as the book progresses and when it will come out (not for quite a while!). 

I would like to add a few resources for men on how to develop grass-roots political skills. Do any of my readers have a good book or two to recommend on how to develope political skills on a grass-roots level? I have looked on Amazon and found books such as Roots to Power: A Manual for Grassroots Organizing and other books but I have no idea if they are any good.
