Yakima (WA) faces lawsuit to give illegal aliens political representation

Groups have filed a voting rights act lawsuit in Washington state that would give illegal aliens political representation on Yakima City Council.  I cover it in greater detail here.  This is an enormously important lawsuit, and there has been almost no coverage of the implications.  Citizens in Yakima who oppose this could intervene in this lawsuit to stop it, considering the City of Yakima may not aggressively fight back.
