Mamdani Lets Out the Truth: He Sees Mass Migration as Islamic Conquest

Mamdani regularly claims that America has an obligation to welcome in anyone who wants to come here (except Jews, of course). As recently as today, September 14, he was suing the Trump administration for invoking a law that allows the government to deny green cards and visas to foreigners who are dependent on American taxpayer-funded welfare. Mamdani does not simply justify this with leftist ideology about illegal immigration. He sees this as his obligation under sharia. 

Back in February, at an interfaith breakfast, Mamdani claimed, “Islam [is] a religion built upon a narrative of migration.” He tried to universalize Islamic principles, arguing that American immigration law should be in accord with the Muslim religion. “The story of the Hijra reminds us that Prophet Muhammad … was a stranger too, who fled Mecca and was welcomed in Medina.”

First of all, let’s challenge the narrative that all the people of Medina were completely thrilled to welcome Muhammad. He seized power there and conquered the city. The false prophet then had to eliminate multiple Jewish tribes in the area because they didn’t want to convert to his demonic religion. But Mamdani’s reference to Muhammad’s actions at Medina is actually much more revealing than he meant to be and helps us understand why he is so furious at any restriction on foreigners receiving taxpayer-funded benefits. Just like the pedophilic mass murderer who invented his religion, Mamdani absolutely believes in moving lots of Muslims into Christian or Jewish or pagan areas, seizing power, transforming the culture, sucking up all the resources, demanding everyone convert or die, and eventually perfecting total conquest. He doesn’t believe in “welcoming the stranger”; he believes in Muslims claiming every country in the world for Islam and exploiting the natives for their money and labor.

For instance, God gave Israel to the Jews as a perpetual possession more than a thousand years before the invention of Islam (Genesis 17:8). After deciding they wanted to take over Israel, the Muslims invented a ridiculous propaganda story about Muhammad supposedly having a great spiritual experience on the Temple Mount. This was the lame justification for the Muslims wrecking Christian churches and building mosques on the site of the Jewish Temple. Mamdani promotes the Muslim claim to Israel. Muslims had absolutely no right to seize the land of Israel or any of the other nations they conquered, but in the Islamic religion, seizure and conquest are not only justified, they’re praiseworthy and flow from Allah’s commands. Muhammad was a warlord who oppressed or slaughtered anyone in his way, and that is exactly what Muslims believe they should do today.

Just as Muslims of previous eras imposed jizya taxes on non-Muslims whom they conquered, many of the Muslims who moved to Western nations believe in exploiting every possible loophole for taking money from the taxpayers of their new nations. And so we have come back to the news from today, Mamdani’s fury at the restriction on illegal aliens and other foreigners receiving welfare benefits. It is all of a piece with his fundamental belief in using migration as a form of religious conquest.

There are different forms of jizya: 1: Direct taxation: money paid as a second-class citizen under Islamic rule (largely dormant today due to the rise of nation-states and the Western imposition of a secularized Christian global legal order). 2: Welfare transfers: state benefits provided to millions of Muslim immigrants in Western countries. 3: Security costs: expanded security and defense budgets driven by Islamic jihad and terrorism. 4: Foreign aid: payments to authoritarian regimes to suppress or manage jihadist populations.
