There is evidence connecting Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass to illicit ballot harvesting. And the city council just made another move to ensure mass fraud in the future, crowning weeks of controversy about the recent mayoral race there.
Why would the Los Angeles City Council move to allow illegal aliens to vote in American elections? Such a policy would of course be completely anti-constitutional, but it is all of a piece with Democrats’ behavior in the California city this year. In other words, Democrats in California have to cheat to win, and they are perfectly fine with that. They will simply keep finding new ways to cheat to prevent Republicans from ever coming to power again.
Registered Republican Spencer Pratt was originally supposed to go to a runoff against Bass after the primary election at the beginning of June, but after a week of “counting,” Los Angeles claimed that Pratt was out of the race and socialist Councilwoman Nithya Raman had managed to close a significant gap and somehow surge ahead.

Subsequently, the California Post reported that it had spoken to homeless people who took money in exchange for voting for Bass and Raman — particularly Bass. Multiple of the homeless people assured the reporters that ballot harvesters came down to bribe the homeless people to vote a specific way all the time.

Now, Bill Essayli, first assistant U.S. attorney for the central district of California, is investigating allegations of election fraud in California, and he indicated that between dirty voter rolls, insanely loose voter registration laws, and ballot harvesting, the state has a system designed to welcome abuses.

Los Angeles voters could soon decide whether noncitizens should have a path to voting in city and school board elections.
The City Council voted 10-5 Thursday to advance one of the most controversial proposals in a sweeping Charter reform package headed for the November ballot.. Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez questioned how Los Angeles could create a noncitizen voting program when the city’s elections are administered by Los Angeles County.
Of course, illegal aliens are not allowed by law even to be present in our country, let alone to vote in our elections. But this was never supposed to be about justice or patriotism or legality. Democrats don’t believe in our republican system of government, they believe in an oligarchy, and that elections can only be sanctioned so long as the oligarchs can manipulate results however they want.
For well over a century now, Democrats have been blatantly and shamelessly rigging and cheating in elections. They never have positive results following upon their terms in office to incentivize voters, so they have to rely on propaganda and fraud. That’s also why Democrats don’t care how much crime illegal aliens bring to our country so long as they also bring the potential for leftist votes.
