Democrats have always been elitists and always believed it is laudable to inflict suffering on others in pursuit of their own perverse goals. And they are demonstrating that to the entire country and indeed the entire world once again with their stubborn refusal to provide funding for the Department of Homeland Security despite multiple terrorist attacks by immigrants and widespread airport chaos.
From the time they were slaveowners in the 19th century up to the present when they exploited illegal alien workers as their replacement for slave labor, the Democrats have always been all about their own power, wealth, and political manipulation. They are just as indifferent to the problems American citizens are experiencing now due to DHS funding restrictions as they were to the suffering of slaves in the 1800s. Once elitists, always elitists.
And that is the message that we need to be hammering home to everyone we know, especially those who might be traveling or living in an area with a good deal of illegal alien crime and radical Muslim protests. Remind everyone over and over that Democrats are engaging in this partial government shutdown, this denial of full funding to DHS, purely because they are protesting arrests of the most despicable illegal alien criminals and the restoration of many jobs to American workers. This fight is really all about rewarding foreign lawbreakers and punishing Americans.
In fact, it’s even worse than that. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) basically admitted that the Democrats need illegal aliens not only for cheap labor, but for rigging election results in violation of the law. “I won't go through all of the demands, much of which we've talked about repeatedly in the public, but one of those demands is, keep ICE out of sensitive locations. And we've defined that as schools, houses of worship, hospitals, and polling sites,” Jeffries pontificated.

Except that the only possible reason for objecting to federal immigration officers at polling sites is if you are afraid they will find illegal aliens voting. By law, there should not be any illegal aliens at polling sites at all, so why worry unless your plans for winning future elections include shady election rigging?
But this also is part of the ongoing elitism of the Democrat Party. The Commie lefties in charge truly believe that We the People are too stupid and too incompetent to make decisions for ourselves, and that we need them in their enlightened brilliance to tell us what we should be allowed to do and think and say. Hence there should never be a free election, only a rigged election, which must always turn out in their favor, by any means possible.
Democrats sometimes try to claim that they are working on behalf of the American people with policies that are particularly destructive, but in this case, they don’t even seem to be pretending. They are proud of the fact that they are cutting off DHS funding and impacting millions of people because they want to keep safe murderers, rapists, thieves, drug traffickers, and pedophiles who crossed into our nation illegally. The Democrats are the oligarchs, and anyone who does not comply with their will must be punished.
