Five Loathsome Quotes From Outgoing Rep. Jasmine Crockett

When writing about a Democrat as stupid and despicable as Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas), who just lost her primary race, it can be hard to pick only five truly appalling quotes. But the five I collected in this article provide enough of a sampling to turn your stomach and make you celebrate with champagne the fact she is not returning to Congress.

Perhaps Crockett's most disgusting display was when she tried to justify voting against legislation to honor assassinated free speech crusader Charlie Kirk by sneering “just like we wanted to make sure that those Confederate relics were taken down, the idea of a new age relic being propped up was something that I just could not subscribe to.” Incidentally, her own Democrat Party were the Confederates, and it seems she was carrying on the long and dishonorable Dem tradition of supporting assassination of Republican opponents.

That was not the only time that Crockett cheapened a tragedy. Kayla Hamilton was a 20-year-old with her whole life ahead of her when MS-13 gang member Walter Javier Martinez, a 17-year-old illegal alien in the United States under Unaccompanied Alien Child status, sexually assaulted her and strangled her to death. During a congressional diatribe opposing the Kayla Hamilton Act, Rep. Crockett referred to Kayla as a "random dead person."

Crockett has made numerous bizarre and outright false claims about illegal immigration, including pretending that groceries and houses are more expensive when immigration laws are enforced (on the contrary, illegal immigration fueled the housing crisis). "One thing I can tell you, is that if you sit down and you say, ‘Are you okay with your grocery prices? Are you okay with the fact that housing prices are going up?’ and you start to connect how important it is for us to have immigrants that are contributing to our country in this way, then people may start to shift,” she rambled. “So I am telling you that this is a failed thing, but we’ve got to do better to connect the dots and let people know the reason you can’t afford a home is because of these failed immigration policies." The only failed immigration policies are her party's.

On a related topic, Crockett also aggressively pushed a blatantly false history of how Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) came to be. She was absolutely part of the Democrat hate campaign that caused a 1347% increase in assaults on ICE.

Last September, during an interview on MSNBC, Crockett blathered, “As somebody who understands history, when I see ICE, I see slave patrols. I never lived through the slave patrol period, but if you know the history of policing in this country, then you understand that they were born out of slave patrols.” This is false on so many levels. First of all, there was never a federal slave patrol, and in fact, it was members of Crockett’s own Democrat Party that were responsible for so many of the slave patrols leading up to the Civil War.

But the fact remains that ICE was founded in 2003 in the wake of new government responses to the 9/11 attack. Federal customs enforcement has roots going all the way back to the 18th century in the United States federal government, but at no time was it connected to slave patrols.

But Crockett was trying to build her career off race-baiting rhetoric. That’s why she fakes ghetto slang, even though she went to expensive private schools. In one unhinged social media rant, Crockett made this mystifying and baseless claim: “They not even gonna, honestly, they about to outlaw the idea of white supremacy and white hate. Like they are about to be like, ‘Oh, that’s not a thing.’ Forget the fact that you’re talking about getting rid of like the classification for nuisance in a time in which we have seen these random black bodies be strung up down south.”

And those are just five reasons I am delighted Jasmine Crockett will not be going back to Congress.
