The Democrats who are destroying California instead of running it have been implementing policies in favor of sexual perverts for so many years that it is almost not surprising, though it is sickening, that we are at the point where Los Angeles schools are infested with child abusers. And now, a registered sex offender is running for office.
The Democratic Party has very clearly aligned itself with criminals and perverts, which means that anywhere they are in charge becomes a hotspot of — surprise, surprise — crime and perversion. If you encourage people to think that heinous and illegal behavior is laudable, that behavior will increase.
Rene Campos is running for a District 7 seat on the Fresno City Council, and he’s trying to make public safety his key issue. Except that Rene Campos is a registered sex offender for possession of child sex abuse material, according to the New York Post. One would think that would be automatically disqualifying, but apparently it's not in California.
Business owner and District 7 candidate Nav Gurm angrily told a local outlet, “I think it should be a disqualification to serve in public office. If I’m the next councilmember in District 7 and I can’t show up to a school site, how can I best represent the people in the neighborhoods I want to serve?” As a registered sex offender, of course, Campos is legally banned from school properties.

Gurm is hoping to interest state legislators in coming up with legislation to ban sex offenders from running for office in the future. “If someone is a registered sex offender, they can’t be on campus at a school site. How are you going to be able to fulfill the duties of the job?”
Then again, in California, it almost seems as if being corrupt and incapable of fulfilling your duties is a recommendation. Look at Gov. Gavin Newsom, who has been going out of his way to make California a haven of sexual perversion. In December, Newsom bragged about wanting to see more "transgender"-identifying children, for instance. Altering one's biological sex is impossible, and attempting to do so can cause permanent psychological and physical damage, including infertility and bone damage. That's why HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. calls them "sex-rejecting" treatments.
Not content with encouraging parents to mess with their children's bodies in the service of transgender ideology, Newsom and the Democrats in the California legislature decided they would simply steal other people's children for the transgender movement. They passed, and Newsom signed into law, an egregious piece of legislation that orders teachers to hide "gender transitions" of children from their parents if they think the parents would disapprove. And when Elon Musk expressed grief over having allowed his child to undergo "gender transition" after believing lies from woke doctors, Newsom gleefully mocked him.
It's no wonder that attorney John Manly revealed, on the Feb. 19 episode of Straight to the Point, to host Catherine Herridge, “The main issue is, is that there is an epidemic of sexual abuse in the state… by teachers, by coaches, by other school employees.”
It's all by design. Democrats have made California a haven for sexual predators.
