UN Chief, Global Leaders Congratulate Iranian Regime That Massacred Protestors

The Secretary-General of the United Nations has reportedly joined the list of world leaders congratulating the Iranian regime on the anniversary of its bloody and destructive takeover of Persia. These congratulations come hard on the heels of the Iranian regime‘s crackdown on freedom protesters that left up to 30,000 dead.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is always on the side of Islamic terrorists, especially when it comes to Gaza. But his love affair with tyranny and terror is much deeper and more complex than spreading lies against Israel and in support of Hamas. Guterres just reportedly gave another example of how determined he is to overlook genocide, as he often does with China.

Guterres’s subsidiary agency, UNRWA, is “terror-infested” and numbers multiple October 7 jihadis among its employees. If he is enamored of people who raped women to death and burned babies alive just for being Jewish in Israel, why should he not be in love with jihadis who gunned down women and children for supporting regime change? There is a very good reason that the Trump administration cut funding to the UN.

By the way, the 1979 Islamic revolution’s chief Khomenei was a viciously oppressive and murderous ruler who imposed strict sharia on the country. As the Persian protesters made clear with their mass protests this year, the revolution brought nothing but tragedy and terror to the country.

The Jerusalem Post reported:

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is alleged to have sent a letter of congratulations to the Iranian regime on the Wednesday anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, according to a report from Iran's IRNA…Guterres extended congratulations to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, describing the day as an opportunity to reflect on the country's path, role, and contributions to the international community. He also urged global cooperation to advance peace and security and uphold human rights.

You’d think the tens of thousands of protester corpses would be enough to convince Guterres that calling on the Iranian regime to support human rights is laughable. But apparently not.

Besides the above points from Guterres’s pro-terror track record lending credence to the report, Guterres gushingly congratulated the Chinese Communist Party — the most murderous regime in world history — on its hundredth anniversary for its “great achievements.”

Furthermore, just a few days ago, when the United States for some crazy reason resumed talks with Iran, Guterres hailed it as a move for “de-escalation and the peaceful settlement of disputes.” While the UN human rights office called for a probe into the mass killings of protesters, Guterres did not mention this in his statement, based on the UN press release.

I think it is important to note that Guterres, if he did congratulate the Iranian machine, would be one of multiple world leaders to do so. Nicaraguan, Qatari, Indian, Yemeni, Kazakhstani, and Pakistani leaders were among those who sent their congratulations, according to Press TV. It is heartbreaking how the world has turned a blind eye to the suffering of the Iranian protesters.
