From the Minneapolis riots to China’s foreign policy, and from U.S. Senate hearings to Chinese state media, it is clear that neither Western leftists nor their ideological allies, the Communists, shape their policies or propaganda based on facts or reality.
This is partly an advantage and partly a detriment to the leftists and Communists, all of whom are Marxists. It is a detriment to the extent that people notice based on common sense or their own experience that the propaganda fed to them is untrue. But the Marxists' disregard for truth can sometimes be an advantage to them when dealing with gullible people, because it means the liars can say whatever they wish about their record or their opponents. It is much easier to make oneself look angelic in a fictional narrative, particularly if one is an authoritarian.
For example, new headlines on Chinese Communist Party (CCP) state media outlet Global Times include, “Foreign leaders flock to China as Chinese diplomacy enters a 'warm season'” and “Chinese lifestyles increasingly gain global appeal, offer a steadier way of being.” Sure, the CCP has massacred hundreds of millions of its own people, poverty and economic instability are massive crises in China, and the surveillance state is excessively oppressive, but we are supposed to want to imitate China’s lifestyle.
I found it a bit unsettling that the Global Times, which almost makes hating America a perpetual hobby, is very pleased at the prospect of Donald Trump visiting China. Obviously the CCP mouthpiece expects China to benefit from such a visit. Given that the outlet lies all the time, however, it is always better to take whatever it says with a grain of salt, whether positive or negative.
The Global Times also threw in an article taking a high moral tone on the Epstein files, which is insanely ironic given that the CCP is one of the most corrupt regimes in the world and currently convulsed with internal purges.
Speaking of media that functions as a mouthpiece for a particular political ideology, The Nation just nominated the violent anti-ICE domestic terrorists in Minneapolis for the Nobel Peace Prize. The disconnect from reality is beyond satire.

Then again, Democrat politicians have done everything they can to undermine federal law and encourage the protesters. California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas), former Vice President Kamala Harris, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, Portland Mayor Keith Wilson, and Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles are just a few of the politicians who have defied federal immigration laws and smeared ICE. They are responsible for the 1,347% increase in assaults on and 8,000% increase in death threats against ICE. Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes even explicitly encouraged people to shoot and kill federal immigration officers. And yet through all this, Democrats have claimed they are the compassionate and peaceful and loving and just ones.
Because if there’s one thing all Marxists have in common, it is a complete disregard for the truth.
