Shots were once again fired near Donald Trump, and the FBI has confirmed that this was another assassination attempt. This second attempt highlights the irresponsibility and danger of leftist media still smearing Trump as a huge “threat to democracy.”

Thomas Matthew Crooks tried to kill Trump in July, shooting Trump through the ear in an assassination attempt made possible by egregious Secret Service security failures. But the Secret Service isn’t the only entity at fault, as Democrats in government and especially in media continue to paint Trump as the world’s greatest villain. Is it any wonder that radicals want to shoot the GOP nominee?
America is not and never has been a democracy. We used to be a republic, but, of course, the Democrats—the very ones trying to trample constitutional rights—love to babble about saving democracy. Indeed, Democrat VP and presidential nominee Kamala Harris directly — and falsely — accused Trump of inciting violence and encouraging his supporters to undermine “democracy” in her recent ABC debate with Trump:
And on that day [Jan.6], the president of the United States incited a violent mob to attack our nation's Capitol, to desecrate our nation's Capitol. On that day, 140 law enforcement officers were injured. And some died. And understand, the former president has been indicted and impeached for exactly that reason. But this is not an isolated situation.
The truth is that Trump repeatedly called for peace that day and no officers were killed, the only casualties being Trump supporters killed by Capitol police. But the key point is that Harris essentially accused Trump of deliberately inciting a violent insurrection that resulted in death. Her supporters consider Trump to be a tyrant with blood on his hands.

Leftist “news” outlets have possibly been even more virulent in their rhetoric than Harris. The Nation sneered on Sept. 13, “Trump Is As Gullible as He Is a Threat to Democracy.” The genius writer came to this conclusion because Trump claimed during the debate that Haitian migrants have been hunting local animals, a claim that has some basis in police reports. So The Nation is not only wrongly calling Trump a “threat,” but the writer is not doing journalistic due diligence!
Bill Gindlesperger wrote for USA Today on Sept. 4, “More Donald Trump brings significant risk to stability of American democracy.” He ridiculously asserted, “A second Donald Trump presidency could destroy everything we Americans have held dearly.” And we’re supposed to be surprised that Trump has been nearly assassinated twice?
Slate published a piece on Sept. 6 about “The Scariest Threat of a Second Trump Term,” which is supposedly “pardons [that] are part of a system of bending the law to his will.” Because we all know Democrats haven’t weaponized lawfare. What a joke.
There are many — too many — examples, but you get the point. Trump and his supporters will continue to be targeted violently as long as Democrats continue to gin up insane hatred against MAGA.
