Conservative watchdog and activism group Judicial Watch has filed an ethics complaint against Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), said Tom Fitton, the organization’s president, on Fox News on Thursday.
“The number one House ethics rule is you’ve got to act in a way that reflects credibly on the House at all times, and when you’re out there… inciting mob violence against sitting Trump cabinet members, that doesn’t obviously reflect credibly on the House,” said Fitton on Fox & Friends. “And the House has to decide whether they’re going to allow its members to use the House as a platform and its power and position to attack and incite violence against Trump cabinet members.”
Waters infamously told a crowd of liberal protestors to “create a crowd” and “push back” any time they see a member of the Trump cabinet.

Which of course means she's ok with the same thing happening to her, right?
After all, she's setting the rules here. pic.twitter.com/hrHDayly9s— Tim Young (@TimRunsHisMouth) June 24, 2018
Fitton referenced this exact statement in his remarks on Fox discussing the ethics complaint.
“Look, she’s telling people get a crowd together, confront Trump cabinet members as they’re getting basic necessities for life. Tell them they’re not welcome, push back,” he said. “I mean, that’s the very definition of mob violence.”
Fitton pointed out that cabinet officials and Sarah Sanders in particular now require increased Secret Service protection.
“Each House member, and I suggest your viewers call the House and ask what they’re going to do in terms of standing up against Maxine Waters calling on violence targeting Trump cabinet officials,” he said. “I can’t imagine a public official should be able to do that and get away with it.”
