U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry flew to Israel to try to broker a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas. Neither side wants a cease-fire at this point, and neither side agreed to one — at any point.
Here’s how CNN reported the lack of any cease-fire deal.
There was no deal @CNN. Why this image? Why this chyron? pic.twitter.com/qPqARxSNFE

That’s an impressive amount of propaganda to pack into one image. The crying, wounded child juxtaposed with that chyron is no accident. It puts Israel in the position of “rejecting” a deal and putting that child and others in the crosshairs.
There was never a deal.
It’s Hamas that is intentionally targeting children, and intentionally putting Palestinian children in harm’s way. Not Israel. Hamas hides its weapons in schools. Not Israel.
There never was a deal. Hamas rejected a cease-fire every bit as much as Israel did. More, really, since Hamas started the war in the first place.
So, CNN, what’s your excuse here?
