Herman Cain: 'With all due respect, Obama couldn't run a pizza joint'

Tell me that Herman Cain isn’t Barack Obama’s worst nightmare. Go ahead. I won’t believe it, but you can tell me that all you want.

Fast-rising GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain, the former Godfather’s Pizza CEO emerging as a strong contender in the Iowa caucuses, blasted President Barack Obama’s leadership abilities in an exclusive Newsmax interview, saying Obama “could not run one Godfather’s pizza restaurant.” …

“The president has demonstrated that he lacks leadership in a whole lot of ways [and] could not run a company,” Cain told Newsmax. “And I don’t mean to be disrespectful: He could not run one Godfather’s pizza restaurant.

“Instead of being decisive, he dithers,” Cain said. “Instead of having a management structure where he can entrust to some key people responsibility, he has an organization that is unmanageable. When he added 36 czars to go with the ones he already inherited, that is an unmanageable structure. So nobody knows who’s in charge.” …

“So he’s not decisive, he dithers. He has a structure that doesn’t work,” Cain said. “He’s inconsistent, and he’s broken a lot of promises, and he is losing the confidence not only of a lot of his supporters, but has lost clearly a lot of confidence from the American people.”

Show me where Herman Cain, one of the most respected business managers in the nation, is wrong about any of this.

I don’t know why so many Republicans are so down on the GOP’s presidential field. Granted, the current front runner, Mitt Romney, carries more baggage than an airliner, but he’s not the only game in town and we have a long way to go yet before anyone should be coronated. Herman Cain gets more impressive and on point as the weeks go by, and from what I saw he also knows how to work the press. If he can get the campaign machine together and crank up the fundraising, he will be formidable. Tim Pawlenty hasn’t caught fire yet but he’s a solid candidate with good instincts and a real record to run on. Sarah Palin has shown nearly flawless instincts for using social media to move her message, and for getting under the MSM’s skin over the past year or so. And if Tx Gov. Rick Perry jumps in, we’ll have the nation’s most experienced and successful governor of the past decade, and a true Obama nemesis, in the hunt. He’s fresh from spanking Bill White. It would fun to watch him go after Obama on a national scale. And it’s already fun to watch Herman Cain eat Obama’s lunch.
