Government Motors ad extols Detroit?

Also left out of that Chrysler ad that Ed writes about on PJM today:

1. Detroit’s last mayor ended up in jail for obstruction of justice in a sexting scandal that rocked the city.

2. Detroit city councilwoman Monica Conyers — wife of Rep. John Conyers — is serving time for bribery.

3. Conyers’ son is involved in a still mysterious theft of a government vehicle.

4. Detroit, the city, is pretty much bankrupt and ceding one-fifth of its territory to lawlessness.

The only question is whether Detroit’s plight is the symptom or the disease.
