Russians break UN Iran sanctions - already!

Zolghadr is no harmless minor official. Currently Deputy Minister of the Intelligence Department (overseeing the police, etc.) and formerly Deputy Commander of the Revolutionary Guard, Zolghadr is associated with Mustafa Pour-Mohammadi and the notorious 1998 “serial murders” of dissident intellectuals.

In his week long trip to Russia, Zolghadr mentioned that he did not encounter any problem or hardship. “The interesting point to this worthless resolution is that the Russian government is one of the 15 UN Security council member, who has signed the resolution 1747,” Zolghadr added.

How are the Russians responding to their breaking of the sanctions? “Russia’s foreign ministry will put out an official statement regarding Zolghadr’s trip,” a Russian spokesman told the Associated Press.
