Diversity diva AOC debuts new Clinton-esque black preacher accent in Memphis

Hillary did it.

Kamala did it.

Female Democrat politicians eager to shatter that elusive glass ceiling have a remarkable and cringeworthy penchant for suddenly exhibiting hitherto unseen niche vocal aesthetics whenever they find themselves pandering to a particular audience.

[Democrat] women in power pantsuits can do anything, feminist dogma holds — and that superpower apparently includes shapeshifting magically on command into a middle-aged Southern Baptist black preacher in an attempt to woo African-American voters, an audacious cultural appropriation for which they are granted a pass.

Here, presidential hopeful AOC — who, for the record, grew up in a leafy middle-class suburb in Westchester County and spent her entire life known as “Sandy” until she became a spicy little Latina firebrand politician full of moxy — with her loyal African-American (possibly paid) supporters and one portly middle-aged white lady in flip-flops assembled behind her in a show of solidarity, channels MLK Jr. at a July 17 election rally for Justin J. Pearson, declaring passionately that “we cannot afford to leave [insert locale] behind.”

She even does the head-weaving thing she’s seen them do on TV.

The only piece of the performance missing was the talking in tongues.

Her admirers eat it up — again, apparently not offended one bit by the cultural appropriation of it all.

At the same rally, AOC bizarrely and cryptically declared, in an apparent call for a renewed Civil War, that when she was recently in Montgomery, Ala., with “Sista [Ayanna] Pressley,” both members of The Squad agreed that “it is time for the North to roll up to the South” because “we will not be chased out of places anymore, bruthas and sistas.”

(“Roll up on,” in urban parlance, means “to arrive at a location looking for a fight,” a reference to the long-established urban tradition of drive-by shootings.)

Of course, any decent person recoils in visceral disgust at the performative bottom-of-the-barrel appeal to identity from these people, but Democrat voters apparently have no decency, or at least no expectation of decency from their precious leaders — not when defeating lItErAl FaScIsM is on the agenda.

Most everybody has seen the “I ain’t no ways tired” Hillary cringefest on the campaign trail back in ’08 in Selma, Ala. (Liberals absolutely love callbacks to the Selma bridge performance from the 1960s; it’s basically equivalent to a sincere Christian’s reverence for the resurrection of Christ.)

But my personal favorite moment of shameless pandering to the urban community, which the Democrat Party clearly holds in the lowest possible regard, came when Clinton appeared on The Breakfast Club in 2016 and told the African-American audience that she carries hot sauce at all times in her purse, because everyone knows the blacks base their voting decisions on who best seasons their meals.

“What’s something that you always carry with you?” the interviewer asks.

Without skipping a beat, Clinton responds: “hot sauce.”

Then, when Charlemagne half-jokingly warns that she ought to be careful because someone might accuse her of trying to manipulate the audience with such transparent pandering, Clinton, who has climbed to the top of the Democrat hierarchy despite her total lack of political instincts or any personal charisma to speak of, quips: “Is it working?”
