The Great Replacement Chronicles: ‘MAGA Accolades’

Archiving the “strange death of Europe,” as Douglas Murray put it, and the West more broadly, at the hands of the neoliberal technocracy.

‘MAGA accolades’

(Programming note: Admittedly, this story doesn’t perfectly fit, necessarily, the theme of this column, the Great Replacement, except in the sense that this lady occupied a position that could have gone to a competent candidate but didn’t because the Brandon entity’s handlers wanted a lesbian immigrant of color as the face of the administration. Still, I suffer from a deep and abiding nostalgia for the before-times, when I could report to my heart’s content on this moron’s regular public displays of illiteracy.)

America’s most notorious DEI hire, former White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, in a meandering speech about going to previous Independence Day events at the White House with her lesbian CNN reporter wife, denounced something called “MAGA accolades”:

What’s wild is that this was a pre-written speech based on an article appearing in The i Paper that was very likely written by a professional ghostwriter using her name. (No one who has seen this individual in action could ever buy that “acolyte” is part of her linguistic repertoire.)

She probably practiced it.

And she still said “MAGA accolades.”

Classic Karine.

Karine’s fatal career flaw, which is why she is now relegated to having (probably ghostwritten) articles published in her name on obscure British websites, was to put together a girlboss screed — again, almost certainly using a ghostwriter — in the immediate aftermath of the 2024 election defeat of the Karamel-uh entity, with the punchline being an attempt declare her “independence” from the Democrat party.

To make matters worse for her, she couldn’t even put together a coherent narrative for why she was going independent.

Sad!

This granted license to all of her former colleagues who hitherto had, for the sake of their own careers, pretended she was not a ridiculous buffoon who regularly beclowned herself and the president, her employer, who refused to fire her for years, to finally unleash all of that pent-up angst.

Via Politico (emphasis added):

Karine Jean-Pierre, while promoting her memoir, has floundered when asked about the former president’s exit from the presidential race, his stance on Israel and whether Kamala Harris had a shot at the White House…

“A car crash is fascinating to watch,” said one longtime Democratic communications strategist. “She was the top communicator for the president of the United States and she can’t get through basic interviews.”

The strategist, who like over a dozen former Biden officials and allies interviewed for this story was granted anonymity to speak with candor, likened Jean-Pierre’s interview this week with The New Yorker’s Isaac Chotiner to “watching Mike Tyson fight a baby.”

“It’s like watching a toddler jump into the deep end of the pool,” said a person who worked with Jean-Pierre inside the Biden West Wing.

But few of the Democrats interviewed for this story understood her book’s premise, or why she didn’t seem to seek feedback from her former colleagues or enlist them in efforts to promote the book.

What any career advisor ought to have told Karine when she was contemplating her next move was that she lacks the intelligence or charisma to make it on her own without the sponsorship of a political party.

She reportedly tried to get hired at The View around the same time the book came out but was rejected.

Several credible analysts speculated The View suits rejected Karine on the grounds that she was too dumb to serve as a co-host.

Too dumb to work alongside Whoopi Goldberg!

A plausible explanation, for sure — yet, still, I have a feeling that’s not really why, for the simple reason that being dumb is by no means disqualifying to work as a news actress in corporate state media. If it were, Don Lemon wouldn’t have been CNN’s primetime anchor for years.

So long as you serve your masters faithfully, being a knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing dingbat is, if anything, an asset, in that you are viewed as easier to control and less likely to cause problems by asking obvious questions or experiencing moral dilemmas due to cognitive dissonance.

Karine’s real crime was denouncing the party.
