Delusional, Obese Progressive Online News Host Doubles Down on Claim He Could Beat Up Joe Rogan

Cenk Uygur might actually be clinically obese, as defined by a BMI exceeding 30; he’s very fat.

And untrained.

And fifty-something.

This is what psychologists call “delusions of grandeur.”

I wish so much that someone would make this happen.

It all started a few years ago after, at some point late last decade, “progressives” in the media decided that Joe Rogan is a right-wing white supremacist or whatever, despite the clear reality for anyone who actually listens to his podcast that he is just a guy who doesn’t have a strong ideology and has given favorable interviews to people like Bernie Sanders, whom he endorsed in 2020.

(Cenk, brutal vax authoritarian, was a staunch proponent of mandates during the pandemic, which he was never atoned for.)

 Via Newsweek (emphasis added):

Cenk Uygur has said he could beat Joe Rogan in a fight, claiming it would be the easiest $1,000 he would ever make.

Although the political commentator's remark is unlikely to lead to a celebrity boxing match, Uygur did spar with fans of the podcast giant on Twitter on Thursday night, after he criticized Rogan's stance on COVID vaccinations.

The host of The Young Turks podcast wrote: "To all the loser @joerogan fans crying over my attack on his 'freedom' hypocrisy & stupidity, are you guys part of the crew or do you kiss his ass for fun? I thought he was a big boy who could handle himself.

"If he doesn't like my free speech, he can grow a pair & defend himself."

This prompted one fan to suggest that Uygur call Rogan a loser to his face for $1,000.

"I'll make a 1000 dollar donation to your trash network or your charity of choice to see you call Rogan who is not only the most successful podcast in history but also a black belt in mixed martial arts, a loser to his face," the fan tweeted.

Uygur then sent social media users into raptures by replying that he would accept the offer and could take Rogan in a fight—even though he thought the idea was "incredibly dumb."

Joe Rogan is a lifelong martial artist who has achieved black belts in both Taekwondo and jiujitsu and competed at elite levels in the former; Cenk Uygur claims he wrestled in high school.

Joe Rogan is built like a brick s***house; Cenk Uygur has a gut the size of Rhode Island.

This would not be a serious competition.

Nevertheless, Cenk Uygur, undeterred, claimed once again just a few days that he could defeat Rogan in the octagon, although he ratcheted his odds down from a sure thing to 8%, which is also delusional.

He also claims — and this is more interesting — that he would have a 92% chance against Alex Jones. This is a fight we need to make happen; both men are visibly out of shape in their 50s and both talk endless amounts of game about how tough they are on air.

Cenk infamously had the golden opportunity to take on Alex Jones back in 2016 during the Republican Convention, when he and Roger Stone crashed the Young Turks’ set and held up an awesome t-shirt that had Bill Clinton’s face superimposed on the iconic Obama logo with “rape” instead of “hope” at the bottom — which he passed on.
