Snow Job

January 2nd, 2014 - 9:02 am

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio is coming into City Hall with a sweeping mandate to address the city’s most vexing problems, from economic inequality to police and community relations.

But first, he will have to manage a snowstorm.

A winter storm that is due to hit on Thursday, de Blasio’s second day in office, could pose the first challenge to the new mayor, as he tries to enact a progressive agenda while ensuring the city of more than 8 million people is well managed.

If the last five years of progressive governance are any indication, New Yorkers may be in for a long, cold winter.

He'll be a pasty faced Coleman Young of a mayor.

Only it won't be just race, (as witnessed by the inaugural speeches), but progressive idiocy as well that runs what's left of the the talent, money, and work ethic out of the city.

And as the death spiral and bankruptcy manifest, hold on to your wallets.

Nuclear winter is more like it. If I lived there I'd be making plans to flee.
