50 shades of what? I got way better than that, but we have to go back to 1986, via 1972.

I didn’t think often of Joe Cocker during the ’70s and the first half of the ’80s. I mostly knew him as that guy who, on whatever music show I’d seen, got all contorted on stage while singing “You Are So Beautiful.” But while I was busy pretty much ignoring him, he was busy recording this oft-covered Randy Newman tune.

And with it came Kim Basinger. And Nine 1/2 Weeks. And this Top Ten Moment of All of Cinematic History Ever and Forever.

Oh. My. God. I thought that was Andrew McCarthy!

And yes, Kim was delightful in that video (props to Richard E. below) but I much prefer Tom Jones' cover over this one; it's more sensual.

If anyone wants to track it down, it was recorded for 'The Full Monty' soundtrack.

...Now that I think about it, one of the sexiest scenes I've seen in a film was the "seduction" scene in 'Danny Deckchair' with Miranda Otto.

Makes Miley all that much more pathetic for her awkward and lurching attempt at "sexy". A similar scene occurs in The Fabulous Baker Boys...Michelle Pfeiffer in her red dress.....singing "Makin' Whoopee" on the piano. Fully clothed but sexier than a hundred naked Mileys.
