50 shades of what? I got way better than that, but we have to go back to 1986, via 1972.

I didn’t think often of Joe Cocker during the ’70s and the first half of the ’80s. I mostly knew him as that guy who, on whatever music show I’d seen, got all contorted on stage while singing “You Are So Beautiful.” But while I was busy pretty much ignoring him, he was busy recording this oft-covered Randy Newman tune.

And with it came Kim Basinger. And Nine 1/2 Weeks. And this Top Ten Moment of All of Cinematic History Ever and Forever.

I’ll be in my bunk.

I'm afraid I don't understand the part where he puts her clothes back on.

Oh. My. God. I thought that was Andrew McCarthy!

And yes, Kim was delightful in that video (props to Richard E. below) but I much prefer Tom Jones' cover over this one; it's more sensual.

If anyone wants to track it down, it was recorded for 'The Full Monty' soundtrack.

...Now that I think about it, one of the sexiest scenes I've seen in a film was the "seduction" scene in 'Danny Deckchair' with Miranda Otto.

You may not have noticed, but there is no hat in this video.

Makes Miley all that much more pathetic for her awkward and lurching attempt at "sexy". A similar scene occurs in The Fabulous Baker Boys...Michelle Pfeiffer in her red dress.....singing "Makin' Whoopee" on the piano. Fully clothed but sexier than a hundred naked Mileys.
