What? You mean teams of talented 3rd-party developers have been working under the radar without fanfare for months or years to bring out excellent Windows 8 content on cue from Microsoft?
Feh. I just wish MS would let me install “MS Arcade for Windows” on Win7.
The original games ROCKED. Very nearly all of them don’t need much in the way of improvement, except perhaps using higher resolution.
Ok, I can think of something: even on an Athlon XP 2.3Gz system with an ATI Radeon 8500 video card, MS Arcade Asteroid was still less responsive than the original. I had to tweak the heck out of it before it started performing like the original.
There’s something to be said for dedicated hardware.
