Tax collectors with their own special forces are a clear indicator that Big Government is suffering the first of its death spasms.
From here, things will get truly ugly.

The information protected by law is described in Section 6103 of the Internal Revenue Code (http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/26/6103). Any protected information that might be of use to the police in combatting refund fraud or identity theft is already in the possession of the taxpayer or must be disclosed to the taxpayer by the IRS at his request.
The article says that, with the consent of the taxpayer, the IRS will now be able to disclose this information to the police. But, if the taxpayer is consenting to the IRS disclosure, he could also just disclose it to the police himself, without involving the IRS.
So just what does the “pilot program” do that cannot already be done now?
I’m confused.
Boy, if that ain’t an appropriate title.

“I think the IRS is ready for a spiffy new uniform.”
I don’t think he means veggie-leather sandals, either.
and the IRS gets all of your medical info under obamacare, too.
