IF you Can’t Buy an Election, Steal It
Well:
A small tax-exempt political group with ties to wealthy liberals like billionaire financier George Soros has quietly helped elect 11 reform-minded progressive Democrats as secretaries of state to oversee the election process in battleground states and keep Republican “political operatives from deciding who can vote and how those votes are counted.”
Known as the Secretary of State Project (SOSP), the organization was formed by liberal activists in 2006 to put Democrats in charge of state election offices, where key decisions often are made in close races on which ballots are counted and which are not.
The group’s website said it wants to stop Republicans from “manipulating” election results.
The fact that SecState offices are the perfect place from which to cover up Democrat ballot-box stuffing is, I’m sure, a coincidence.

Liberals have all the good political ideas. Conservatives should have done this to begin with after the 2000 election, but now all they can do is react. So have they launched a decent poll watch program, or a who-counts-the-counters effort? Nooooooo.
Last year, there were several grassroots efforts associated with the Tea Party that involved poll watching and recording incidents that might constitute voter fraud during the elections. There are even apps (at least for the iPhone; don’t know about Droid) that helped facilitate this process.
The Tea Party has also spent a lot of time focusing on local and state elections. I’m hoping this effort has continued, and that the same type of SOSP is on the radar for these groups. This is where the national organizations need to get in touch with the various grassroots groups and start a concerted, nationwide effort. This is the only way that Soros and his ilk are going to be defeated.
This is just one piece of the grand progressive election-buying puzzle. I’m sure you’ve read The Blueprint. Thankfully, Gessler pulled it off last year; he sounds like he’s going to do a pretty good job keeping the local shenanigans in line.
