Now that the Florida primary is over, I can tell you: Marco Rubio will be the next Senator from the great state of Florida. There’s just no way Charlie Crist pulls enough Democrat votes away from Kendrick Meek to win, even a plurality.
And you read it here first: Crist comes in a weak third on election day.
UPDATE: James Joyner seems to think I might be a little nuts, but he has had many drinks with me, all in a row.
From your lips (fingers, whatever) to God’s (Goddess’s, Flying Spaghetti Monster’s, whomever’s) ears (meatballs, whatever)!
The blacks are going to vote for Kendrick Meek. End of story. Nothing more needs to be added.
I don’t always drink gin but when I do, I prefer Bombay Sapphire.

I’ve read that the dems might be tempted to surreptitiously support Crist. This bears watching. If the Social Democrats got caught betraying the loyal African-American candidate in favor of the White Guy just to keep the Senate seat away from the Hispanic-American candidate, the cynicism of and the blow-back from such nefarious activity would be delicious.
