I’m hearing this morning that Parker Griffith (D-AL) will announce that he’s switching parties as soon as this afternoon. That north Alabama seat has been Democratic since time immemorial.
If true, then — whoa.
UPDATE: I should have known the info was solid — Will has family in AL5.
How many more will it take to put Boehner in the Speaker’s chair?
Too bad he is joining a party that doesn’t really want to win.

Maybe that’s part of the Democrat’s plan–thrust power back on to the Republicans before they’ve done the house cleaning they need to do to take the reins again.
