Ever had a bad reaction to a flu shot? Me, neither — until about 1AM Thursday morning. All I can say is: Ouch. Oh, and: Glad that’s over.
Anyway, I’m back in the game and writing up the script for tomorrow’s Week in Blogs. Meanwhile, I’m all over the Peace Prize thing on Twitter.

I thought someone had changed my homepage to The Onion this morning. Surely there has been some kind of mix up. They must have meant to award him the newly created Nobel Appease Prize.
Holy crap. I just learned that the nomination deadline was last February 1. He had only been in office for 11 days. He probaly still needed a map to find the West Wing bathroom at that point. He hadn’t even gotten started on his record of non-accomplishments since then.
Has it ever been possible to determine when a nomination actually was submitted? I don’t believe for a minute that they waited until he was actually in office to nominate him. Hell, they might not have waited until he’d been elected.

I feel for ya, Stephen. Got my flu shot Wednesday, spent Thursday aching all over, sick in my stomach, and just wanting to curl up in a ball and sleep. Never happened before, this must be a nasty season they are prepping us for.
Absolutely right, McGehee. He might not have even secured the nomination when he was nominated.
That should be “secured the presidential nomination when he was nominated for the prize.
