It’s impressive to see the courage of those Iranian protestors. The only ones with guns are the government goons. It takes guts to risk everything like they’re doing. I can’t help but wonder how many of us would have that kind of courage, myself included. It’s easy to say but difficult to do.
There is great hope in the fact that the army hasn’t been deployed. There is considerable hope in the fact that few of the goons are trusted with guns, as even this government ruled by an ayatollah and the Shahmadinejad knows that not enough of their loyalists are loyal enough to shoot their own people for protesting a sham.
