It’s true — ABC News won’t be making an informercial in the White House. More like an ABC After School Special.

This is not the first time a network has stooped to this level. Remember back in the Reagan era when they aired “The Day After”, a story about nuclear war centered on Lawrence Kansas and then had the disgusting Russian Propagandist and Soviet Apologist Vladimir Posner ( paired with that disgusting Democrat Propagandist and Socialist Apologist Phil Donahue) on afterward in a “Town Hall Meeting” so as to make perfectly clear to Americans what would happen if they kept backing that crazy cowboy in thw White House?
Hurry up Americans, sign on to the glorious Democratic Peoples Nuclear Freeze movement before its too late! Stop Reagan from deploying those evil Pershing Missiles in Europe before it all gets out of hand!
I hate to be the one to tell ABC this, but most of the people who used to watch their network are right now sitting at home in the company of 57 feral tabby cats and they are rapidly fiddling with their foil wrapped rabbit ear antennas, desperately trying to figure out why they can no longer get any of their favorite shows on their 40 year old TV.
Let’s see, I do watch The Simpsons on Fox, SNL on NBC, and um, very rarely either Letterman on CBS or Leno/Conan on NBC. That’s it for network tv for me. The only news show I watch is the 10 pm local news on Fox, mostly for the weather around 10:15 pm so I can go to bed afterwards.
Isn’t MSNBC feeling a little miffed about this? Or has he promised them the Global Warming Special?
I was kinda expecting a Wayne’s World-style “We’re not worthy!”
