President Obama just went up in my estimation, after Jake Tapper reported that he’s a big fan of Forest Whitaker.
Might just need to pull Clint Eastwood’s “Bird” off the DVD shelf this afternoon. That’s the first of several Oscars Whitaker should have won.
I found his work in ‘Battlefield Earth’ to be inspiring.

And Ghost Dog had the best gangsters ever to appear in film.
You’re inebriated. Sleep it off. One has nothing to do with the other, except both are two dimensional images on a screen with borrowed words; one of them has to have a visual aid, since he blew his brains out with coke and smoke.
Have you seen Last King of Scotland? I was very impressed by his performance in that one.
If nothing else, he deserves a round of applause for spending countless hours in the African sun in full body paint.
