Finally found a mic I’m happy with and at a price I can live with.
So now I need a little advice on podcasting software…
If you have a Mac, I recommend Audio Hijack. If not, Audacity for Windows is free and good. Audio Hijack is better and more flexible, but I’d still get Audacity for editing.

RE: You’ve Got a Mic?
What’s his name? What county is he from?
Gotta be Irish.
Funny you mention it. Just yesterday I threw together my first php script to dynamically compile i-tunes compatible rss feeds. I’ts a bit rudimentary… you would have to manually fill out a form that would update a database with the audio metadata… (and upload via FTP your audio file) but if that isn’t too much trouble, email me and I’ll show you what I have. Not sure what kind of backend you are running. Love your site and would be happy to help.
I just have spent 2 months working all of this out. I have a Mac, so I use GarageBand (no problems at all) with Audio Hijack Pro with Skype to do phone interviews.
For putting up the podcast, I use Loudblog. Pretty sweet software, available at http://loudblog.de/
I have about 10 interviews completed, just editing them and putting them up on http://theadventurelifestyle.com
E-mail me if you have any questions, I would love to help out.
