There’s a nasty summer headcold going around, and Melissa and I both caught it. And she’s not allowed to take anything stronger than Tylenol. I am — and have.
Back once it wears off, maybe. Or maybe just another dose.

Yea I got it… Its not bad, you get a sore throat and you sh*t often…
I take one medication and one course of therapy: Nyquil and SLEEP.
People here are just sneezing and stuff. And whooping cough is going around. But that is it.
I got a bad cold at about 7 weeks pregnant. It’s no fun. My doc says Tylenol, Benadryl and Sudafed are all safe. Some docs disagree.
If she can take Benadryl, I really recommend it. It’s what saved me because I was able to sleep at night.
And like you guys, my husband caught the cold and was able to take all the good stuff (Dayquil and Nyquil) and never really suffered. Not fair. On the other hand, the little guy/gal is kicking up a storm today, and I’m the one who gets to experience that.
I just had that.. my doc said Tylenol Sinus was okay to take (it’s just tylenol and sufedrine, of course). Not that it did a whole lot.
Hope you feel better soon.
I should probably have mentioned that I am preggo as well. I am out of my first trimester, however.

RE: Head Cold?
I recommend getting ahold of Dr. (MD) Panos book, Homeopathic Medicine at Home. Good tables. It also helps with going through maturnity matters and with small children issues. [Note: Once you get the child into 'day care', you're a bona fide member of the Bug-of-the-Month club. This will help.]
Regards,
Chuck(le)
P.S. It’s available in any well-stocked Vitamin Cottage, along with the materia medica
For a Vodka drinker like yourself, do NOT combine Tylenol and alcohol unless you want to cook your liver. Very bad…
May I re-iterate, Alcohol + Acetaminophen = Your liver crying out in pain. It can and will kill. Stick to other NSAIDS, preferrably aspirin.
Remember, Nyquil Is just tylenol (500mg), sudafed (30mg), DXM (The Tussin!), Sominex(30mg), and Alcohol (at 25%).
Be Safe, pull the tylenol.
