I like Arthur, link to him fairly often, respect his intellect. Yet I find him so profoundly wrong on this issue, on so many levels, from some of his most basic assumptions, that I can’t imagine taking less than several hours to refute him. Because he is wrong–utterly so, even on libertarian grounds.
And yet I find myself asking: who would read it?
I would. Every word.
