Only 200K? Dang – must be cheaper than Denver – 1800-2000 sq foot houses in my area are going for 220K-260K (depending on the neighborhood).
And we had the same problem with another bidder wanting the house we liked – unfortunately, they managed to come through with the cash backing about 30 minutes before the deadline. Ah well, we like this one we’re in too.
Just a side note. That house is bigger than the last 3 places I’ve lived combined. Granted, I’m single, no kids but still. Sounds like a very nice place. Hope you get it.

It really isn’t huge — about 2,800sq ft. In these parts (also since it’s in school district 11 and not 12 or 20) goes for around 200k.
