USA Today reports that the hunt for al-Qaeda leaders in Pakistan is on hold, due to the threat of nuclear war. Instead, military planners are concentrating their efforts on how to get our people out of South Asia in a big, fat hurry.

Well, taking out Iraq would be one way. The intel haul shoiuld be priceless. The result will be an American army poised in the central position in the Middle East, able to bring pressure in any direction we choose, and a halfway decent government in Iraq (about all that can be expected.)
