Is our president learning? Is his legendary flexibility about to reach the breaking point?

(CNN) - Based on intelligence, Obama administration officials are very concerned the Russians are not being truthful when they say their forces near Ukraine’s eastern and southern borders are merely there for training exercises, sources tell CNN.

They’re very concerned. Expect a strongly worded memo any second now.

Officials assess that Russia – as early as coming days – could use any number of pretexts to justify further military incursions into Ukraine.

Moscow could express a need to protect Russian-speaking Ukrainians, or to protect transportation lines from Russia to Crimea, or the energy supply to Crimea from the rest of Ukraine.

Russian troops could accomplish this quickly, officials say, and theoretically before any other nation could even raise objections.

Officials publicly attribute their skepticism to previous Russian assurances that proved false, and privately say intelligence from the field has bolstered this view of Russia’s plans.

Maybe they’ve stopped spying on our phone calls long enough to look at my maps of Ukraine’s energy development regions.

You can already tell that Putin could beat Obama at golf. He's much better at improving his lie. He knows how to hit a ball in the rough. He's made a lot of holes in one. No doubt he could drink Obama under the table at the 19th hole.
This stuff is starting to write itself damn it!

So Prince Barry is "suspicious" that Putin isn't exactly being upfront with him? Really Prince Barry?? When did you figure that out. Was in in between rounds of golf or maybe it was when you were filling out your picks for the final four. I'd be surprised, maybe shocked would be a better word, if Putin didn't grab all of Ukraine, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia as well. Maybe even threaten Finland. Prince Barry has the spinal fortitude of a wet noodle. And Putin knows it.

Putin can declare right now that he wants to swallow up Ukraine and Estonia, what will Dear Leader do? Threaten him with red lines? Take another millions dollars vacation?
