House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) is banking on President Obama’s trustworthiness numbers — poll ratings that plunged after the Obamacare rollout — to keep immigration reform out of the GOP playbook heading into midterm elections.

“As you all know, for the last 15 months, I’ve talked about the need to get immigration reform done,” Boehner told reporters today at his weekly press conference. “This is an important issue in our country. It’s been kicked around forever, and it needs to be dealt with.”

“Having said that, we outlined our principles last week to our members, principles that our members by-and-large support. It was put together by the leadership team, and they believe it,” he continued. “But I’ve never underestimated the difficulty in moving forward this year. The reason I’ve said that we need a step-by-step, common-sense approach to this is so we can build trust with the American people that we’re doing this the right way.”

Boehner added that “frankly, one of the biggest obstacles we face is the one of trust.”

“The American people, including many of our members, don’t trust that the reform we’re talking about will be implemented as it was intended to be,” the speaker said. “The president seems to change the health care law on a whim, whenever he likes. Now, he is running around the country telling everyone he’s going to keep acting on his own. He keeps talking about his phone and his pen.”

“And he’s feeding more distrust about whether he is committed to the rule of law.”

Boehner stressed that “there’s widespread doubt about whether this administration can be trusted to enforce our laws.”

“It’s going to be difficult to move any immigration legislation until that changes,” he said.

White House press secretary Jay Carney said after Boehner’s remarks that they “remain optimistic about the prospects for comprehensive immigration reform in 2014.”

“There’s no alternative to comprehensive immigration reform passing through Congress. It requires legislation. And the president’s made that clear in the past, and that continues to be his view. That’s why we need to work together, to build on the existing bipartisan consensus, to see it help deliver a bill through the House and then a bill that can ultimately reach the president’s desk,” Carney continued.

“Look, I think that the challenges within the Republican Party on this issue are well-known and they certainly don’t have anything to do with the president. But as I noted before, the progress has been significant. I think that there is a genuine recognition among leaders in the Republican Party that this is the right thing to do for our economy. It’s the right thing to do for our middle class. It’s the right thing to do for our businesses.”

When pressed on the trustworthiness of Obama, Carney said, “I think that the president’s record on border security has been well documented and has been testified to by Democrats and Republicans.”

I would like to make the stunning claim that it is illegal to enter this country without, yes, LEGAL, permission, and that is, yes, LEGAL, for those that do so to be thrown out.

There's your baseline. It's already written down on paper for you all nice and neat. Now go to work.

Great, Mr. Speaker, now that your agenda is cleared, what's next on your list to screw Middle America?

See? Not only we don't trust Obama, we don't trust you that much either.

"Boehner: No Immigration Reform Until We Can Trust Obama"

Well then, if Boehner actually means what he says, which is highly doubtful, there will be no "immigration reform", and we all know, or certainly should know, what "immigration reform" really means, until time itself comes to an end because no sane and sober person would ever trust a pathological liar like President Pinocchio, aka Emperor Empty Promises.

Choom Boy should have been impeached by the House months ago for failure to faithfully execute the laws of the land.
Trust him....only if you have a brain disease or are a Marxist. Oh wait, they're the same thing, aren't they.

Oh, for God's sake, impeach him already. He's a criminal who's destroying our country from within our own White House. What more does he have to do? If he sacrifices a live baby (white, of course) in the Oval Office as a MSNBC special, will you locate your gonads and do what needs to be done? Oh, I'm so tired of you all. Dems are corrupt to the point of actually being evil and Repubs are so incredibly cowardly, I feel like screaming my frustration.

Right. That's why DreamActLite is in place, courtesy of Obama's little pen.

I wish Carney would just go take a flying leap into the Potomac.

We know we can't trust the Obama Administration, I hope we can trust Boehner.

Most likely we cannot- except by progressives. He is the definition of RINO- perpetrating the appearance of opposition to the progressive agenda with calculated ineffectualness. Doing this actually helps to enable the agenda because there are enough folks who identify as conservatives who might otherwise speak out but are holding their silence on the premise that Boehner is going to be their voice when in reality "conservatism" is nothing more than a costume- a disguise he wears.

Very careful with "Toll Booth" Boehner. See, both Farm Bill and Immigration Reform Bill have been: "scratch my back I'll scratch yours" funded. A Bit long, sorry.
The passage of the “Farm Bill”
Congress passed the “Farm Bill!” Has a price tag a little under $1 trillion dollars.
Why did it pass? And why did John Boehner say Immigration was difficult to pass due to the President’s display of “lawlessness!” If the President, Speaker Boehner went on to say, changes his ways (or words to that effect) then Immigration goes back on the table.
O.K. let’s analyze what is happening in these hallowed Halls of We The Elite People of Culture of Corruption in all of WashingtonDC!
First, All RINO GOP are facing really low polling numbers both nationally and in their districts. Their Tea Party challengers, by and large, poll most favorably than do these Washington DC Elite GOP Establishment Representatives.
Establishment GOP’ers needed a sure thing designed to fund their coffers for re-election against ANY Tea Party candidate. The “Farm Bill” provided this mountain of “donor”cash by corporate welfare gone amok. See, if you scratch my back I’ll scratch yours is the operative word in this “Farm Bill!”
Now, why did the Farm Bill get passed and the Immigration Reform Bill not even get a whiff? HUH? Because of two things! One, Tea Party candidates dominated the Immigration conversation and Two We The Elite GOP Establishment cowered in their respective corners, saying nothing for fear of having their cojones handed to them in upcoming 2014 elections. The Farm Bill passed for these TWO reasons.
Now, on to the Immigration Reform Bill. It, too, will come up for a House vote IN NOVEMBER OF 2014 or thereabouts. See, both Farm Bill AND Immigration Reform Bill have been fully gerrymandered for “donations” by having the same “game plan” in the Farm Bill carbon copied onto the Immigration Reform Bills, i.e., surveillance companies, military weaponry suppliers, NSA, Homeland Security, and other disparate crony capitalists.
Lastly, why do you think IRS, Bengahzi, et al are on a slow boat to China (as it were)? HUH? Because, the Washington DC Elite crony capitalists have a vested interest in keeping their faces before TV screens across all USA…SEE, “WE’RE DOIN’ THE PEOPLES WORK!!! So, they have to be re-elected in order to “keep up the good work!” VOTE FOR ME, these crooks are all sayin’!!!Doesn’t anybody read these Tea Leaves??? It’s so obvious it’s funny. This is kabuki 101!! America, we’re being played like a two bit violin. Wake-up! Join a Tea Party! The Tea Party’s only salvation is to go underground…like that famous Civil War one (you know) RailRoad. Pray. Amen. God Bless America.

Your taxes will be assigned to support illegal aliens when Amnesty is the law. If you don’t believe that surprise is buried in Obamacare, see

This is your money being given away. Please get out and VOTE in the Primary elections and in the 2014 November mid-term election.

Defending The Indefensible?

Mexicans comprise the bulk of illegal aliens in an unarmed invasion of The USA although their neighbors to the south are gaining momentum. Mexico is a backward country with a proud but ancient history. Whereas the short-term reward (i.e., positive reinforcer) of violating our borders is economic, the long-term reward is political and military ... that which the Mexicans themselves call “La Reconquista”, a term most of us Americans, tyrannized by Radical Maternalism, refuse even to acknowledge.

How do we deal with this unarmed invasion? We reward it with “Amnesty”, a word connoting forgetting ... forgetting that these illegals are invaders albeit unarmed.

Concomitantly, our elected politicians talk about defending the borders. Talk? Is it not their sworn duty to act ... to defend the borders by whatever means necessary?

What form would the current talk take if implemented ... ever? Spending billions of dollars to create a porous line, the consequence of crossing of which would be our spending many millions more prosecuting the invaders as criminals.

Is there a cheaper, more effective means of defending the border? What would we do if Mexico launched an armed invasion instead of the currently successful unarmed one? Would we talk about it? Would we offer their troops food and drink once they arrive on American soil? Conversely, might we summon what’s left of our resolve to defend our borders with guns and bullets?

Is not an unarmed invasion an invasion, nonetheless? The Mohammedan King of Morocco once claimed that his religion would reconquer Europe ... through the womb. In the next election, there will be 500,000 new, Latin voters. How many will vote to follow the U.S. Constitution as written? How many will vote to embrace traditional American values based upon English law and custom? How many will venerate the Founding Fathers? Conversely, how many will curse President Polk while waving Mexican flags and voting in Mexican elections as well as American?

Manifest Destiny? It still exists ... but in reverse (www.inescapableconsequences.com). R.I.P., President Polk.

Very bold comments by the House Speaker. If he actually means them, then the US should be on the way to impeachment proceedings and restoration of its Republic.

Do you mean them, Mr. Boehner?

I haven't heard much in detail on this, but I understand there is at least one Tea Party challenger in a primary race for Boehner. He's feeling his base about to fire him at the polls.
