We’re in the very best of hands.

Hill staffers that signed up for ObamaCare through the Washington, D.C., healthcare exchange, called DC Health Link (DCHL), are being told to confirm their enrollments in person, and not to rely on data provided by the website.

The Hill obtained an email sent to staffers on Wednesday warning them that “it is essential that you confirm your coverage in DCHL through the Disbursing Office.”

“Do not rely on your ‘My Account’ page or other correspondence from DCHL,” the email reads.

“Please do not assume you are covered unless you have seen the confirmation letter from the Disbursing Office,” the email continues.

Hill workers had until Monday to sign up for healthcare in D.C., where members and their staffs are eligible for a generous employer healthcare subsidy from the government.

And now, they may not really have coverage.

The government’s towering incompetence just makes you want to give up sometimes, doesn’t it?

Hopefully, sufficiend numbers of Congressional staffers will be faced with the loss of insurance (and appropriate IRS penalties) and identity theft to convince their bosses just how bad this is.

Politicians need to see that this affects people.

First, stipulating openly that I am not a "nice" person. Especially when my focus is defending the passing on of an intact Constitution to my children and their children.

My reaction to this is to hope that every one of these Statist Liu2 kou3shui3 de5 biao3zi5 he2 hou2zi5 de5 ben4 er2zi5men5 is left totally without medical coverage, both insurance and doctors. And to further hope that they and theirs come down with painful and expensive disabilities that leaves them with the same lack of options for the future that they are leaving for the American people. No, they did not vote for this, but there are no political innocents working at the congressional level. They work for the congress-critters they work for because they believe in what they are doing.

Those who claim the right to rule us, need to be under the same laws we are under.

Walking on the dark side today.....

As The Church Lady might posit "Wouldn't it be convenient if insurers didn't "receive" the correct 834 data files for customers with very expensive pre-existing conditions?"

If I'm a business person with a very well known scapegoat botching things, why wouldn't I take advantage of the "out" they're providing to protect my bottom line?

Hey, they LOVE socialist totalitarianism in NY, CA, WA, VT,MD..,if they want healthcare run line the Post Office, they can stand in line like the Post Office.

Although, when one of the Worker's Party climbs a clock tower after getting flamed at his Obamacare job, I suggest we say he went "coastal"
