Enjoy today, champ. Tomorrow the headlines will still be all about the manifest failures of Obamacare.

It’s ironic that Obama said today that we’re at the “point where a simple majority vote no longer seems to be sufficient for anything.”

A majority oppose Obamacare. The Senate’s Democratic leadership will not allow a vote on bills to repeal it.

By the way: Obama walked off without taking any questions. This is leadership? Could he have explained his full-throated denunciation of the nuclear option before coming out today to justify using the nuclear option? No. So he just doesn’t bother.

As I posted in response to another Tatler article:

"This is surrender. They know they are going to get creamed in 2014. They know they are going to lose the Senate. So, they have decided to get through as many of their radical judges as possible, before they lose power.

This is great news. I especially like that they have set this precedent. Now, once the GOP gets into power, they can extend this to other things, like legislation, and they can eventually repeal ObamaCare."

So, of course he takes no questions. His statement is just a small fig leaf, a token effort. There really is nothing to say, and the questions alone would rip away the leaf. They have surrendered to the inevitable. Just getting what they can get, now. They are done. They know it. If Obama goes off script, he will let his anger show. So, no questions.

He is denouncing the operation of the Constitution. Nothing more; nothing less. He is annoyed that "the world's greatest deliberative body," having deliberated, is not giving him everything he wants.

Why should he bother? The Propaganda Machine will fill in the blanks.

And that is all that Obama has left in his holster.

Other than the five million people 30 and older who watch Fox News, who will know that the Evil Clown has completely reversed his position? As for the few others who will know, why should they care? They will be getting what they want, and they know as well as we know, that every word the man has ever said in his life is a lie. The difference is that they whole-heartedly support the lies (and fervently wish that he would be far more ruthless about his "agenda")..

"No. So he just doesn’t bother."

His team has learned that anytime he talks off script, he only gives critics more to use against them later. Like all product managers (which is now how the Office of the Presidency is viewed), the idea is to control the image and the story, not actually be helpful.
