Former Democratic senator, presidential and vice presidential candidate John Edwards has gone back to his roots. He started out as an ambulance chaser, and now CNN reports he’s an ambulance chaser again.

After two bids for the Oval Office, a sex scandal and a fraud trial, John Edwards is back where he started from.

The former senator will be practicing personal injury law in his home state of North Carolina, CNN affiliate WRAL reported Monday.

He is opening a practice in Raleigh with the same law partner he started his first firm with in 1993, David Kirby. The firm will practice under the name Edwards Kirby.

Returning to personal injury work will afford Edwards the chance to brush off his dead-baby-channeling skills.

I don't know how much Edwards' fraud trial defense cost, but he probably still has millions banked from his previous physician malpractice practice & ambulance chasing.

The best part of Edwards' infamy is getting busted by the National Enquirer - then him denying it - and the Enquirer being proven correct! Dat's gotta sting & leave a mark!
