Well, when you put it that way.

CNBC’s morning anchors were troubled by the news that their own insurance plans will become more costly under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

On Oct. 30’s “Squawk Box,” CNBC Senior Correspondent Scott Cohn revealed details of NBC’s open enrollment, brandishing an official fact book outlining the process. He quoted the document, revealing that the ACA would increase employee premiums.

Cohn observed “Some of these costs, when you look at this, are way up — double digits.”

Many (present company included) were shocked on Monday when this salvo was fired from what had previously been a hotbed of Obamacare sycophants.

Imagine how many epiphanies would be occurring if so many waivers and delays hadn’t been handed out.

This is outrageous.
The government should do something.

It warms my heart to no end to see true believers getting sticker shock for their love of Zero. All I can say is "I told you so".

Gosh - I got a warm and fuzzy feeling just saying that.

I wonder what the next epiphany will be that strikes these numb-nutz between the eyes.

It's funny that the ad near the top of the screen is for ehealthinsurance.com, given the gummint's Sisyphus-ian task of building a web page to do pretty much the same.

(Sisyphus being a chronic liar of a king, punished by pushing a rock up a hill, only to have it roll down, punishment for thinking himself too clever for Zeus.)

Sorry for all the people being hurt by the ACA, but for those who voted for Obama, stupid SHOULD hurt!

It's not an "epiphany"; it's an "Opiphany" -- the sudden realization that the One who sends a thrill up your leg (ala Chris Matthews) is actually an incompetent lying sack of fertilizer.

And just remember, it gets worse:
1. The employer mandate has been postponed (illegally) for one year.
2. The higher rates don't kick in until next year.
3. The subsidies to the states start to shrink shortly there after.

The democrats rammed this mess down the American people's throats, and the American people rewarded them by re-electing President Obama.

Enjoy the Hope and Change, suckers.

Why was the employer mandate delayed? This small "sliver" was sacrificed, but there is much worse coming for the rest of us.

I see that on internet news sites of the usual suspects only one CBS has a story about ObamaCare problems. I guess it's old news now.

you voted for it, you voted for him, you accepted a bill passed in the dead of night that nobody read, and now you are surprised.

You should be ashamed and resign in disgrace

Congress and their staffs setting up, or continuing, a system wherein they are exempt from anything at all that they may impose on the citizenry is wrong, regardless of salary. Most everybody will pay more. Will your job or business pay you more to make up for the unnecessary higher costs?

Our complaints about obamacare are valid, but we need to address a way to end obamacare. Since this law was passed entirely by Democrats, we can’t trust them to end the problem. The mid-term election in November 2014 is the next chance we have to repeal obamacare. We need to vote for Republicans who will go on record as being willing to vote for repeal as many times as it takes. If we have enough support to get a veto-proof Congress we can eliminate this law no matter what Obama wants.

Human nature being what it is, part of which is immutable, self interest always wins out. The Left understands that. They buy votes with entitlements.

The Right needs to develop an equally effective strategy. Unfortunately, they mostly don't get it.

Oh they "get it". The problem is the Right has the platform that is trying to cut the entitlements before they drag us under.
