There would be no home field advantage in Alaska for Sarah Palin if the former governor made a run for the White House in 2016, according to a new poll released Friday.

Hillary Clinton, the front runner for the Democrats in 2016, would beat Palin 49-40 in a hypothetical match-up, according to a survey from Democratic firm Public Policy Polling. Palin is the only potential GOP candidate Clinton topped in poll.

Despite it being her home state, only 18 percent of Alaskans think Palin should make a bid for the White House in 2016, with 77 percent— including 72 percent of Republicans — saying she should stay out of the election.

Clarifying, a candidate who has said nothing about running for president in 2016 and who the MSM are constantly saying is an irrelevant faded star is so insignificant that Politico just had to expend resources to poll Alaskans about how they feel.

Regarding something she’s not doing.

This, um, story was posted well above the latest Bob Filner news on the Politico home page, by the way.

72% of Republicans, too? Really? Wonder what kind of push poll that was.

Besides, they may say that now, but if she were actually running, don't you think they would be cheering on the home girl? An Alaskan as President? And a woman? Of course, they would.

They do have a point to polling this. Considering the field of potential candidates, I bet Mrs. Palin would win the nomination in a walk. Why? Because, while she may have yet high negatives after the massive character assassination on her, she has a very solid following amongst the Conservative base, and any Republican who tries to run negative ads on her will only suffer a tremendous backlash. She is still the Queen of the Republican Party. Attack her at your peril.

Amazing the frivolous complaint filers thought they could personally bankrupt the PALINs; when she out-smarted them they got p'od and still, along with obama's Cyber Warriors, make certain they click on each and every article about the Palins dredging up the same tired old mantra.
These Alaskan posters are now complaining the higher Alaskan distribution (oil royalties) which Gov. Paling implemented is being reduced. Karma's a beeeetch! You Betcha!

If Sarah Palin ran for prez in 2016, she would be in charge of what goes on in the campaign, instead of that lame quack McCain. Sarah Palin also doesn't have the baggage/tragedy of the murder of an American ambassador in Benghazi, as well as the horrifying testimony before Congress of "What Does It Matter".

When it comes to dysfunctional families, it's a tie between Palin and Clinton, Hillary certainly has the contacts and probably the money. Palin never seems to finish what she starts.

Palin should run for the nomination in all the open Democrat primaries. Sure it might be tilting at windmills, but it sure would be a remembered fight.

She couldn't get elected to ANY Statewide office in Alaska and most registered Republicans here hate her. You're welcome to have her move to and run from your state.
