The Yemen-based branch of al Qaeda said Wednesday that a U.S. drone strike had killed a former Guantanamo Bay prisoner who rose to become the group’s No. 2 figure.

The announcement, posted on militant websites, gave no date for the death of Saudi-born Saeed al-Shihri.

In January, Yemen’s official SABA news agency had reported that al-Shihri died of wounds from a drone strike three months earlier.

Barack Obama surely has fundamentally transformed the war on man-caused disasters. We used to catch the bright, misunderstood authors of lethal unauthorized kinetic activity and interrogate them to find other terrorists misunderstood youngsters, while they awaited military trials for their roles in the unnameable disasters they had caused. Now Obama releases them into the wild and then kills them with robots without bothering to try them at all.

We should start a national debate on this drone-violence.
Is it the Second Amendment intended to allow the President to conceal-carry a drone ?
Why are all the victims of drone-violence Arabs ?
Is the President profiling Arabs ?

I better put a
tag before someone gets mad at me.
