Rapper Akon: Blacks Should Return to Africa Because of the Zimmerman Verdict

Rapper Akon exhorted blacks to abandon America after a Florida jury found George Zimmerman not guilty in the Trayvon Martin case. Posting on Facebook, Akon writes “Every African American in the United States need to move their money, family, knowledge back to Africa were u will be treated like the royalty you are. You don’t deserve this treatment. This is not your country!!”

The Senegal-born Akon’s devotion to law and order is questionable. He is perhaps best known for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl on stage during one of his performances several years ago. No word on whether Akon believes that girl was “royalty” who deserved such treatment.
