But…the border is as secure as ever!

A suspected escapee from a massive prison break last year in Mexico has been arrested in Eagle Pass.

U.S. Marshals on Friday arrested Gustavo Rodriguez Costilla, 24, the agency announced Monday night. Rodriguez is suspected of being one of more than 130 people who broke out of the prison in the Mexican city of Piedras Negras, across the Rio Grande from Eagle Pass. The massive escape was organized by the Zetas drug cartel in an effort to replenish its ranks, officials said.

Deputy Marshals looking for Rodriguez at the request of the Mexican Attorney General’s Office found him hiding in a home in Eagle Pass, according to a news release. They found two firearms in the house.

Not to worry, he’s a harmless sort. The charges that landed him in prison only included possession of firearms and grenades.

No word on his opinion of the Schumio immigration bill.

Our strange times cause me to wonder: Will the Obama regime allow him to be deported?

I've lost track - on what basis do you think he doesn't have right to be here?

Ya think it might be because he is suspected of escaping from a prison in Mexico?

Never sure these days. I'll take your word this is a border law that is actually being enforced.

It's not my word, just the facts, as reported.

I don't think this had anything to do with border security, or the apprehension of illegal aliens. It sounds to me as though this was simply a case of law enforcement personnel searching for an escaped felon who potentially posed an extreme danger to the community. Although the article does not indicate the escapee's nationality or citizenship status, I think it's safe to assume that a legally incarcerated convict has no right to be anywhere but in prison.

"Will the Obama regime allow him to be deported?"

Check his voter registration, if it lists him as Democrat, you have your answer.
