No, seriously. It’s not a good idea. Despite Hillary Clinton’s wish to build a permanent US presence there.

“The Department of State warns U.S. citizens of the risks of traveling to Libya and strongly advises against all but essential travel to Tripoli and all travel to Benghazi, Bani Walid, and southern Libya,” the warning says, “including border areas and the regions of Sabha and Kufra. Because of ongoing instability and violence, the Department’s ability to provide consular services to U.S. citizens in these regions of Libya is extremely limited.”

Consular services aren’t the only services that are limited in Benghazi.

No travel because of the ongoing instability...that only started on 9/11/12, right? Before that, the Arab Spring was in 'fool' bloom and peace was at hand, right?

Benghazi is not safe?!? Ya think?

You are just now labeling it as such? What took you so long? Did you believe your own propaganda?

And if you do go, if a random protest of a you tube video breaks out, don't bother seeking shelter at the local consulate. No one in the White House wil answer the phone.

Exactly. What difference, at this point, does it make?

But what about all the millions of people who have already bought vacation packages to visit that secure paradise? Will they get their money back? Or at least be able to swap even steven to tour Afghanistan or Eqypt?

Well, I'm relieved they said nothing about Egypt, after all Cairo in this time of year is absolutely charming.
